ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW COMMITTEE Is seeking an alternate committee member for Village Center Community Development District For the Lady Lake / Lake County Portion of The Villages
Village Center Community Development District is seeking a volunteer to serve as an alternate committee member for the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). The applicant must be a full time resident of the Lady Lake / Lake County portion of The Villages and have lived there for at least one year. Committee members are recommended to have education and/or experience in any of the following areas: architecture, ability to read site plans, residential/commercial construction, building management, deed restricted communities, landscaping, county code enforcement, etc; however, this is not required. The Committee meets weekly, on Wednesdays, for approximately 3 hours (8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.).
The required attendance for the alternate is to attend an ARC meeting each week for four (4) weeks and then monthly thereafter. The term for the alternate committee members is 4 years.

CHANGE IN ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTALS
In accordance to meet the requirements of Florida State Statute, Chapter 120.52, notice of public meetings, hearings and workshops by publication on the agency’s website shall be published not less than 7 days before the event.
Architectural review applications that are submitted before 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday will be reviewed by the Architectural Review Committee on the following Wednesday.

The Community Standards Department is committed to upholding the high standards of our community’s residential architectural design, landscaping and aesthetics. The department has two divisions: Deed Compliance and Architectural Review.

It was at that time you signed a covenant with the Developer to comply with the Restrictive Covenants. We urge all homeowners to read their Restrictive Covenants.
