Hydrant Locations

The Villages Department of Public Safety is proud of the municipal water system that enables us to provide the service that might be needed in the event of fire emergency. The Department is active with checking the water flow and maintaining the hydrant system including marking the hydrant with a blue reflective marker in the roadway for easy visibility. This activity is biannual and has been very effective, we are able to identify concerns and have them addressed quickly. The Department is asking that all homeowners maintain 3’ of clearance on all sides so the hydrants can be identified quickly.
