Barbara Kays, Budget Director
Barbara Kays joined the District’s Administration team as Budget Director in April 2007. Previously, she worked for the City of Ocala for 14 years, including 10 years as the City’ Budget Manager. Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Troy State University. She became a Certified Public Manager through Florida State University in June, 1991. Barbara enjoys working with the Districts and meeting residents.
Barbara and her husband, Joe, live in Ocala with their three children. They are active in sports, theater, and Scouting.
