Holidays

The following official holidays are recognized by the Districts. Most District offices are closed on these holidays; however, some District activities, events and operations are available without interruption. Please give us a call if you have any questions regarding the holiday schedule.

Friday after Thanksgiving Day

Christmas Day (*) If Christmas falls on a Tuesday, then Monday is designated as an additional holiday. If Christmas falls on a Thursday, then Friday is designated as an additional holiday.

**With the exception of Veterans Day, when a holiday falls on a Saturday, the holiday will be observed on the preceding Friday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be recognized on the following Monday.
