National Night Out

Community Watch is proud to participate in National Night Out by hosting an annual celebration for Villages residents and local law enforcement agencies. National Night Out began in 1984 and is meant to increase awareness about police and community programs such as drug prevention, town watch, neighborhood watch and other anti-crime efforts. The event has been held annually since 1984 and has gone from a celebration of symbolic efforts amongst neighbors to communities across the nation hosting block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and more. National Night Out provides the opportunity to support the many agencies working together to keep The Villages community safe and the chance to meet your first responders and law enforcement heroes. Helpful resources, educational handouts, demonstrations, giveaways and more are available, and a fun time is had for all.
