2024 Softball Tournament

This competitive open tournament will feature teams divided into age groups of 50+ (Gold/Silver), 60+, 65+ and 70+ for men and 50+, 60+, and 70+ for women. Based on registration divisions may be cancelled or combined with other divisions to meet guidelines. The 2024 tournament will take place on Friday, October 18th, Saturday, October 19th, and Sunday, October 20th. A managers meeting will be held on the evening of Thursday, October 17th at Saddlebrook Recreation Center. The tournament will feature round robin play followed by double elimination seeded bracket play; this is subject to change per division. Each team is guaranteed 4 games (weather permitting). Teams that register for the tournament will be given one dozen balls to be used at the discretion of the individual team for their game play balls.

The men’s 50+ division teams will register for Gold or Silver rather than being placed in one of the pools based off of Friday pool play. 50+ Gold will be unlimited homeruns and runs. 50+ Silver will have a homerun limit of 7 per game. Teams will only play within their division including Friday pool play games.

When teams come to The Villages for a softball tournament, the players and their families are coming to a friendly atmosphere full of exciting opportunities.
