Established pursuant to provisions in Florida Statute Chapter 189, we provide water, wastewater, reclaimed water services to certain properties in The Villages.
A Dependent District is created by the city and/or county it resides within and derives its authority from the local government that created it. Examples of Dependent Districts throughout the State of Florida include Downtown improvement authorities, redevelopment authorities and special taxing Districts.
Florida has a very broad Public Records Law. Most written communications to or from State and Local Officials regarding State or Local business are public records available to the public and media upon request.
