We are pleased to announce that all hurricane debris has been collected in all districts, and we are now moving into the next phase of grinding the debris and transporting it to the Heart of Florida Landfill. Grinding operations are scheduled to begin on Thursday, December 12, with two hauling trucks arriving on Monday, December 16, to start transporting the mulch. We anticipate completing the process by Friday, December 20. This schedule has been confirmed with Ceres and is set to proceed as planned.
Residents are advised to resume their normal landscape waste protocols, either through Jacobs or their private landscaper. Additionally, Jacobs will be updating their phone system to remove the “press 3 for hurricane debris pick-up” option, as it is no longer needed.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Customer Service at 352-753-4508. Thank you for your cooperation as we finalize this process!
